The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is proud to offer a Free Child ID Card Program to help parents and guardians take a proactive step in protecting their children.
This program provides families with a free, credit card–sized Child Identification Card containing your child’s most important personal identifiers, including:
Current photo
Full name, date of birth, height, weight, race, and gender
Eye and hair color
Parent/guardian contact information
Unique physical identifiers (such as scars, marks, or birthmarks)
Why it’s important
Why it’s important
In the event your child is ever lost or missing, this ID card can be quickly provided to first responders and law enforcement. Having your child’s most up-to-date information readily available helps officers begin a search immediately and accurately identify your child.
How it works

Register your child by filling out the form below.
The Sheriff’s Office will create your child’s ID card.
Parents or guardians will receive the card to keep with them at all times.
